Beal, a Black Pioneer who moved from Minneapolis to Swan River, Manitoba in 1906. The film stars Ernesto Griffith in the lead role of Billy. The film won the Best International Feature Film at the San Diego Christian Film Festival in December, 2011, Best Feature film at the Hollywood Black Film Festival in October, 2011, The Best Feature Film at the Winnipeg Real to Reel Film Festival in March, 2011, & the Redemptive Storyteller Award at the Redemptive Film Festival in Virginia in November, 2011.
